Viet Nam will send aquaculture experts to Mozambique in 2008 and in return welcome specialists from the African country.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam and Mozambique Minister of Fisheries Cadmiel Mutemba reached the consensus during their talks in Hanoi on October 17th 2007.
Both sides agreed to increase the exchange of information and research in aquaculture, and boost cooperation in training managers and technicians.
The creation of favourable conditions for businesses to invest in aquaculture, seafood processing and exports, and technology transfer was also mentioned in the talks. On the occasion, Viet Nam and Mozambique are scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
